The Conflict and Harmonization of Justice and Benefit under the Socialist Market Economic Condition

道德并不是和一切利益对立 ,相反 ,利益是道德的基础 ,义与利二者既有相互冲突的一面 ,也有和谐一致的一面。义与利的冲突是义与不义之利的冲突 ,义与利的协调是义对正当利益的促进。在社会主义市场经济的条件下 ,要本着实然与应然相统一的原则 ,协调义利关系 ,树立把国家和人民利益放在首位而又充分尊重公民合法利益的社会主义义利观。

Morality doesn't oppose all benefits; on the contrary, benefit is the foundation of morality. Both justice and benefit have the aspect of conflict with each other; meanwhile, have the aspect of harmonization and agreement. The conflict of justice and benefit is the conflict between justice and filthy justice; the harmonization between justice and benefit means the justice promotes the rightful benefit. Under the socialist market economic condition, it is necessary to harmonize the relation between justice and benefit and establish the socialist outlook of justice and benefit that puts the benefit of the people and the state in the first place; meanwhile, fully respects the citizen's lawful benefit.
