返实格之所以有独特的表达效果 ,是因为这种表达方式既出人意料 ,又可以理解。在这种情形下 ,产生于“不是……而是……”格式和语义否定的一般原则的预期往往落空 ,但是语义否定的逻辑原则又对这种落空进行解释和填补。

Fanshi Ge has its peculiar effect in communicating,because this kind of expression is both beyond our expection and is understanble.In this situation,there is a gap between the consequent utterence and our expection based on the normal rule of language negation and the sentence pattern Bushi......Ershi...... (不是......而是......). And the consequent utterence fills the gap out of the logic rule of language negation.
