女性在传统中国雕塑中几乎没有留下任何记录 ,然而在中国当代雕塑界却活跃着一批优秀的女性雕塑家 ,她们在雕塑艺术上的成就充分体现了女艺术家的特点 ,她们以自己的智慧和才能 ,在雕塑艺术这个通常是由男性主宰的世界里赢得了属于女性的空间。
Although there were no record of any female sculptors in traditional Chinese sculpture, there has emerged a host of active and outstanding female sculptors in the field of modern sculpture. Female sculptors fully embody their femininity by way of their accomplishments in sculpture, and with their wisdom and talents, they have secured a place for females in the realm of sculpture that used to be dominated by males.
