无抗生素预防感染的牙种植治疗效果

Dental Implant Installation without Antibiotic Prophylaxis.

目的 探讨无抗生素预防的牙种植效果,为临床提供理论依据。方法 将牙种植患者154名随机分为两组,对照组83名(196枚种植体)给予口服青霉素V(PC-V)预防处理,实验组71名(167枚种植种)术前、术后均不给予抗生素治疗。结果 经统计学分析,两组之间术后感染率无显著性差异,上颌骨与下颌骨种植体的存留率也无显著性差异。结论 在常规牙种植外科应用抗生素预防感染是无意义的。

Objective To compare retrospectively the outcomes of dental implant treatment with and without antibiotic prophylaxis. Methods Two groups of patients with edentulous or partially edentulous maxillas or mandibles (or both) were treated with dental implants. Controlled group, consisting of 83 patients(196 implants) was given prophylaxis with oral phenoxymethyl penicillin. Test group, consisting of 71 patients(167 implants) was not given any antibiotics preoper-atively or postoperatively. Results There were no differences with respect to early and late postoperative infections or with respect to implant survival between both groups. Conclusion It appears that antibiotic prophylaxis for routine dental implant surgery offers no advantage for the patients.
