Thiis paper introduces the cleaning solution compounded with CX-3 metal detergent. It is suggested, through the examination of various quality indices, that this solution be applicable to steel, cast iron, copper, aluminum, lead and various alloys. And it has been proved that the cleaning ability, wetting properties, corrosion and anti-rust properties of the solution all meet with the requirements, which takes the place of alkaline cleaning solution. Thus, the cost is decreased and the benifit enhanced.
