On the Development Tendency of Electronic Journals

叙述了期刊的产生及电子期刊的发展历程 ,阐述了目前电子期刊内容更加丰富、成本低廉、快捷等优点与不足 ,并预测期刊未来的发展将分为两个阶段 ,第一阶段为电子期刊和印刷期刊互补时期 ,第二阶段则以电子期刊为主导地位时期。

This paper describes the coming into being and evolution of electronic journals and expounds the advantages of richer contents,lower cost and faster speed and some shortcomings.The paper predicts that the development of future journals will be divided into two stages.The first stage will be the complementary one of electronic and printed journals and the second stage will be the dominante stage of electronic journals.
