保持党的先进性是以江泽民同志为核心的党中央向全党提出的一项重大任务。必须以辩证唯物主义的物质与精神、质与量、统一与多样、稳定与发展、整体与局部、内容与形式相统一的原理为指导 ,按照“三个代表”的要求 ,全面理解、把握、构建并保持党的先进性 ,以大力推进党的建设的伟大实践。

It is a significant task of all the party members to maintain the superiority of the Party advanced by the Party Central Committee led by Jiang Zemin. Guided by the principles of the dialectical materialism, we must understand all-sidedly material and spirit, quality and quantity, unity and variety ,steadiness and development, the whole and its part, content and form, construct and maintain the superiority of the Party so as to push forward the great practice of the Party's construction.
