重视研究方法论问题 提升翻译学研究质量——弗朗茨·波契哈克教授访谈录

An Interview with Prof. Franz P?chhacker

本文是对奥地利维也纳大学教授及翻译学国际核心期刊《口译》(Interpreting)主编弗朗茨·波契哈克(Franz P?chhacker)的访谈,笔者与其就翻译学(主要是实证研究)研究中的方法论问题进行了探讨,具体包括:(1)研究语料的获取与分析(2)研究问题的选择与设计以及(3)研究方法的使用与融合。波契哈克教授结合实例并从国际核心期刊主编的视角对以上三个方面进行了详细的阐释。笔者认为,波契哈克教授的这些观点为提高我国翻译研究质量提供了很好的借鉴与参考。在此基础上,笔者对当前形势下国内翻译研究学仁如何提高翻译学研究质量、推动我国翻译学学科建设,并最终更好地与国际同行展开对话,以促进我国翻译研究国际化进行反思。

This is an interview with Prof. Franz P?chhacker of the University of Vienna, who is co-editor of Interpreting, a prestigious journal in Translation Studies. In this interview, the author discusses methodological issues in Translation Studies(mainly empirical research) with Prof. P?chhacker, including:(1) the acquisition and analysis of research materials,(2) the choice of research questions and research design and(3) the utilization and integration of research methods, all of which are elaborated in detail by Prof. P?chhacker with concrete examples. It is believed that the opinions of Prof. P?chhacker can provide guidance for Chinese researchers in Translation Studies to improve the quality of their research.
