先秦汉魏晋南北朝诗歌中的“东流水”意象

The Imagery of “the East Flowing Water” in the Pre Qin to the Northern and Southern Dynasties

诗中"东流水"意象最早是作为医学术语出现在先秦至汉代时期的,具有净肠胃、止泻的功效,代表的是洁净高尚与亘古永恒,这一意象更能够表现出诗人的思维特征与审美追求。晋代以后,主体意识的觉醒造就了诗人对生命主题的关注,而对生命的认识使得"东流水"意象的内涵更加丰富。"东流水"三个字所折射出的美学意义也突破了时空的界限,成为一种有着普遍性的思维特征。

The image of the East fiowing water in the ancient Chinese poetry appeared in period from pre-Qin to Han Dynasty as a medical terminology, which has the effect of antidiarrheal, netting stomach and, at the same time, representing 'clean and noble, eternal and everlasting'. This image is better able to show poet's aesthetic pursuit and thinking characteristics. After Jin Dynasty, the awakening of poet's subjective consciousness makes them focus on life theme, then enriching 'the East flowing water' image in the ancient Chinese poetry. The aesthetic meaning of the phrase also breaks through the limit of time and space, and have a universial thinking characteristics.
