Roaming and wandering is the eternal theme of Arthur Rimbaud’s short life.In his poem'The Drunken Boat','I',as the protagonist,told about a fantastic journey,during which'I'was not only a romantic lyrical narrator,but also a psychic committed to exploring the new poetic language and discovering the new world of poetry as well.After all,'I'was born for'Others',and for the objective poetry—having lofty love and yearning for absolute freedom.However,'I'came to realize clearly in the end that'I'was only a fragile paper boat,which was far away from the unkown world where divine freedom sojourned.'I',had to turn into nothingness inevitably.
