摘要
本文主要研究法语地位在时间和空间中的变化。文章从历史的角度切入,分析法语作为地方语言和作为通用语的功能,厘清法语与拉丁语和其他地方语言的关系。《斯特拉斯堡誓言》开启了法语与国家政权合作的序幕,此后直至十九世纪,法语渐渐上升最终成为国际通用语言,法语强调其作为单一语言的地位。二十世纪以来,随着英语地位的提升,法语转为防御,更为强调语言和文化的多样性。
This text aims to study the status of French in evolution in time and space.The article,from a historical view,analyses the function of French as a vernacular and vehicular language,its relationship with Latin and other territorial dialects.When French has achieved its status as an international language after its collaboration with the state power,the French insists on its status as the unique language.Since the twentieth century,with the invasion of English,the French has taken a defensive position with an emphasis on language and cultural diversity.
