艾蒂安·巴里利耶(étienne Barilier,1947——)以其小说作家、评论作家和翻译家的身份在二十世纪末至今的瑞士法语文坛中独树一帜。本文从他的生平、小说创作与文艺评论三个方面入手,对巴里利耶以艺术与现实为主题的文学世界进行考察。通过对其作品的深入分析,可以看出深受陀思妥耶夫斯基和加缪影响的巴里利耶在写作中运用辛辣的语言对西方传统文化及当今充满了冲突与矛盾的问题世界进行深刻的思考,向我们展现了一种渴望调和理性与激情、呼唤世界大同的理想主义精神。

étienne Barilier(1947—),as a novelist,essayist and translator,developed a school of his own in the Swiss French literature circle from the end of20 th century.This paper investigates his literature works that focus on art and reality from three aspects:his life stories,novel writing and literature criticism.From a deep analysis of his works,we can see that deeply impacted by Dostoyevsky and Camus,Barilier uses bitter and ironic words to reflect on the traditional western culture and the problematic world that filled with conflicts today,presenting us a spirit of idealism that intent to reconcile reason and passion and to call for universality.
