明末清初长篇白话小说题目的法语翻译问题探究

The Study on French Translation of the Titles of Novels in the Vernacular Chinese in the late Ming and early Qing

根据法国题目学理论,中文小说题目可被划分为三类做分析基础:单一题目,主体题目和加长题目。通过翻译例子可以总结出这些题目在中译法过程中常被采用的三种方法。进一步对比中法文小说题目的三个分类和中译法常用的三种方法可以发现,从形式上看,中法文小说题目几乎没有相似之处,这种认识已经影响到对应的法文翻译。其实,中法文小说题目有共通之处,可以通过完善目前常用的三种翻译题目的方法来提高该时期中文题目的法语翻译质量。

With the aid of the French literary critics on the structure analysis about the French title,the author will divide the titles of novels in the vernacular Chinese in the late Ming and early Qing into three categories in regard to form:title of single component,title of essence,and extended title.Through summarizing the translation examples,we can conclude the three methods in the process of translation of these Chinese titles to French.The analysis of examples shows that we can perfect the translation of Chinese titles to French by perfect the three methods in the process of translation of these Chinese titles to French.
