Program of Action with Chinese Characteristics to Safeguard Human Rights in New Era

中国共产党第十九次全国代表大会通过了习近平总书记代表十八届中央委员会所作的《决胜全面建成小康社会夺取新时代中国特色社会主义伟大胜利》的报告。该《报告》蕴含着新时代中国特色人权保障的思想理论基础,蕴含着新时代中国特色人权的丰富内涵,为新时代人权保障路径制定了实施策略,提出了加强人权法治保障的重大课题。《报告》堪称是新时代中国特色人权保障的政治动员和行动纲领。

The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) has reviewed and approved the report entitled Secure a Decisive Victory in Building a Moderately Prosperous Society in All Respects and Strive for the Great Success of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, which was delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping on half of the 18th CPC Central Committee. Embodying the theoretical foundation for the thought on the protection of human rights with Chinese characteristics in a new era and the rich contents of these rights, the report has devised a strategy for the protection of human rights in the new era and formulated the major issue of how to enhance the legal protection for human rights. The report can be regarded as the political mobilization and program of action for the protection of human rights with Chinese characteristic in a new era.
