摘要
1985年夏季,我们从云南省孟定区附近的家畜圈和竹林采集的10种蚊子中分离到72株病毒(暂定名MD病毒);另从孟定区医院和双江县医院收集的24份无名热病人血清中分离到2株病毒。所有病毒在C6/36细胞中均能引起细胞圆缩脱落病变。经血清学鉴定,MD病毒与云南西双版纳人血清分离的BANNA新环状病毒之间无交叉反应;MD病毒与环状病毒M14、YN187两病毒的免疫腹水亦无交叉反应。电镜观察,MD病毒的毒粒大小、结构特征及形态发生学等均与BANNA新环状病毒相似。MD病毒的基因组亦由12条RNA片段组成。无名热病人血清分离的两株病毒的RNA带形和蚊体分离的毒株的RNA带形完全相同,但MD病毒基因组RNA带形明显不同于云南西双版纳无名热病人分离的BANNA新环状病毒的RNA带形。本文就MD病毒的分类学地位和多种媒介蚊在传播和扩散该类致病性环状病毒中的意义进行了讨论。
In the summer of 1985, 72 virus isolates were recovered from 10 species of mosquitoes, A. annularis, A. vagus, C. tritaeniorhynchus, C. fus cocephalus,M. uniformis, Ae. albopictuv ,Ae. annandalei, Ae. desmotes, Ae, gardnerii and H. reidi, collected from cowshed and bamboo thicket in Mengding (MD ) of Yunnan. Two other isolates, MD452 & MD459, were also isolated from serum samples of patients with fever of unknown origin( FUO ) collected simultaneously from two hospitals near Mengding. By the methods of enzyme immuno-assay ( EIA ) and neutralization test ( NT ) , MD orbivirus showed no cross-reaction with BANNA orbivirus isolated from patients with FUO, and two other orbivirus isolates, YN187 and Ml49 isolated from mosquitoes. Electron microscopic examination revealed the virions to be morphologically similar to BANNA orbivirus, spherical,without envelope, 66.03?. G8nm in diameter, with double-layered capsids. Although the genomes of MD orbivirus were also composed of 12 double-stranded RNA segments, the profiles of the genomic dsRNA, shared by all the isolates from human and mosquitoes, were remarkably different from those of BANNA orbivirus and other published orbiviru ses. It was suggested that MD orbivirus should be classified as a new member of another serogroup or subgroup of the genus Orbivirus within the family Reoviridae.
