Coagulation-flocculation is the most basic and important process in industrial water and wastewater treatment. It is of great importance to understand, study and master the theory and practical technology of coagulation-flocculation,so as to improve the technology of water treatment. Essentials of the technology of coagulation-flocculation and their developments are introduced, in order to make helpful reference to the engineering design, operation and application of coagulation-flocculation technology.
