开发FLEX窑炉的基本目的是为了能够建造一种替代坩埚炉的窑炉。当今,几乎所有仍然采用坩埚炉的工厂都希望有这样一种窑炉:它能每周五天、每天按两个班进行工作,借以提高工厂作业的灵活性。此外,要求其玻璃质量优于坩埚炉生产的玻璃,或者至少应较之更为稳定。

A new type of furnaca-FLEX melter,made by Sorg Co.Germany for producing glassware with special size is introduced in this paper.The main features of this melter are high flexibility in changing pull of glass and melting temperature,ease in operation and high glass quality as well as facility in changing glass variaties.
