螺旋桨是以螺旋桨发动机提供动力的飞机的主要散射源 ,螺旋桨的雷达截面积 (RCS)分析是识别这类目标的基础。为简单起见 ,文中把螺旋桨简化成由金属叶片组成的近似螺旋桨模型。用物理光学法 (PO)结合等效电磁流法 (EMC)对旋转螺旋桨的回波进行了分析和计算 ,并计算了其雷达截面积 ,最后分析了其雷达截面积的特点。

The radar cross section of propellers is important in the identify of plane because it is the main source of scattering of the whole target. The propellers are modeled with metal plate.For the reason of simplicity, the radar cross section is predicted by physical optics and equivalent currents method .
