摘要
A 70 steel "Wire Beam Electrode" has been developed and used to study and evaluate Organic Coatings. It is found that the wire-resistances of every wire beam electrode distribute randomly in a resistance range. To describe the d.c resistance property of the whole area of the sample coating, a geometric mean of wire resistances of a coated wired beam electrode,g, is used. It is shown that the reproducibility and reliability are improved by using g instead of Rlarge to evaluate Coatings. Good correlation between visual observation andg measurement was also obtained.
