The Necessity of Self-analysis of Chinese Literary Spirit and its Reconstruction

当代文学由于纯粹中原意义上的汉文化没有鼎足而立的宗教作为民族心理的根基而呈现出虚缈和迷乱。汉族“主流文化”应参与到揭示各民族生存状态和理想追求之中才能避免狭隘民族主义的倾向,中华各少数民族丰富的精神内蕴应吸收到汉语文学中成就作家的非凡创造力。

Contemporary literature displays the features of vagueness and bewilde rment because of the lack of the religion resulted from tripartite confrontation of Chinese culture in the sense of pure Zhongyuan (central plains, comprising t he middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River).To avoid ultranationalism, Chin ese mainstream culture should take a part in unveiling the national survival sta te and the pursuit of ideal. A remarkable writer of Chinese language should abso rb the spiritual connotation of various national minorities.
