Farmstead Tourism and the Development of the Countryside in western China

“农舍旅游”是以农民家庭为主要经营者和受益者的旅游业开发形式。这一项目的开发不仅有助于提高西部的资源利用效率和产业结构层次,而且是彻底改变西部农村面貌和走城市化新路的希望所在。

The writer of this paper discusses the forms of farmstead tourism and holds the opinion that the development of this kind of tourism not only helps ex ploit the resources and improve industrial structures but also helps change the appearances of the countryside and improve its urbanization in western China.
