五四爱国运动是新民主主义革命的伟大开端「在陈独秀与李大钊的引领下,一批具有初步共产主义思想的知识分子涌现出来,成为运动中的骨干"南陈北李"以及后来参加中共一大的代表是五四运动的领导者和直接参与者,也是这场运动的忠实记录者与热情宣传者张国兼、刘仁静、董必武、陈潭秋、毛泽东、邓恩铭、王尽美、李达、包惠僧、李汉俊、陈公博以各种方式直接参加运动或事后高度评价运动关于五四运动的话语体系是建党群英最早提出来的,建党群英在五四运动中的宣传鼓动归纳起来就是彻底的反帝反封建,建党以后五四精神得到了发扬光大.

The May Fourth Movement represents the great inception of the new-democratic revolution.Under the leadership of Chen Duxiu and Li Dazhao,a group of intellectuals with preliminary communist ideology emerged and became the backbone of the movement.Chen Duxiu(in South China),Li Dazhao(in North China)and other representatives of the 1st CPC National Congress later became the leaders or direct participants of the May Fourth Movement,and faithful recorders and passionate advocates of the movement.Zhang Guotao,Liu Renjing,Dong Biwu,Chen Tanqiu,Mao Zedong,Deng Enming,Wang Jinmei,Li Da,Bao Huiseng,Li Hanjun,and Chen Gongbo participated in the movement directly in various ways and later spoke highly of the movement.They proposed the discourse system for the May Fourth Movement,which was,in summary,to publicize and whip up a strong sentiment against imperialism and anti-feudalism,which was carried on forward after the founding of the Party.
