Application of a Material Replacing Wood to Model for Steel Castings of Truck

Background of use of a new moulding material by which wood is replaced used for model producing truck steel castings and its specific applications were briefly introduced.The characteristics of epoxy resin and polyurethane,as well as applications of polyurethane to mould were introduced.From actually used results it was showed that mould made of the new material instead of wood exhibited stable dimension and very high strengtth,making it possible to produce key steel castings of truck such as rocking pillow and side frame.
