摘要
4G的流量需求快速增长,这导致基站在满配情况下仍不能满足容量需求。扇区劈裂技术能高效、快速提升网络容量,对该技术在中国联通4G网络中的应用可行性、应用场景进行分析、探讨。重点介绍扇区劈裂技术的原理,通过案例从容量、覆盖、干扰三方面对扇区劈裂前后的测试情况进行对比,最终确定该技术的部署策略及应用场景。
With the rapid growth of 4G traffi c,base stations can not meet the capacity requirements even when they are fully loaded.Sector splitting technology can improve network capacity effi ciently and quickly.This paper analyzes and discusses the feasibility and application scenarios of this technology in Unicom's 4G network.This paper focuses on the principle of sector splitting technology,compares the test results with/without sector splitting in terms of capacity,coverage and interference through cases,and fi nally the deployment strategies and application scenarios of this technology are determined.
