In Hermann Hesse’s literary creation career,artistic fairy tales are considered to be his most innocent and imaginative works.In these works,he inherits the narrative tradition of the Romantic period with his own writing style.In the fairy tale with the expression of“dream”,Hesse realizes the transformation and fusion of subject and object,reality and illusion.Meanwhile,he attempts to understand the essence of things through insight.He utilizes the psychoanalytic therapy,in order to find back himself in the“real dreams”in his tales and come out of the crisis.These artistic and creative dreams allude to the brutality of wars and usher in the hope of peace.
