Landscape Planning and Design of Huadu Park in Xuzhou City-New Rhyme of Old Huachao City

针对城市人口越来越多,市民活动空间难以向外扩张,城郊空间逐渐被规划利用,如何合理高效利用城郊空间,不破坏原有景观格局、城市文化脉络等共性问题,进行了徐州市花都公园景观规划设计,将原有城郊花卉交易市场规划设计转变为以花卉为主题的城市综合公园,包括入口景观区、中心广场区、花卉展览区、商业娱乐区、静谧观花区、药草展示区等12个功能分区和水景与道路,在规划设计中用新方式体现旧功能,融入该城市独特历史文脉。

With the development of economy and society, the pace of urbanization is faster and faster, and the population in the city is more and more. The space of citizens' activities has been expanding outward and some space in the suburbs is gradually planned and utilized. How to use these spaces reasonably and economically without destroying the original landscape pattern and the cultural context of the city is a problem that should be considered in the process of urban expansion. Xuzhou Huadu Park Landscape Planning is a project which transforms the original suburban flower trading market into a comprehensive city park with flowers as its theme through planning and design. It integrated 12 functional zones together including entrance, center square, flower exhibition, commercial entertainment, flower appreciation, herbal medicine exhibition.
