CBI对非英语专业学生学习动机及语言水平影响的实证研究——以商务英语为例 被引量:1

摘要 针对当前大学英语教学环境,以商务英语课程为例,运用问卷、访谈和SPSS软件等多种手段,探讨了以学科内容为依托的语言教学模式对非英语专业学生学习动机及语言水平的影响。结果显示,CBI教学比传统大学英语教学更有助于激发学习者的学习动机和提升学习者的语言水平。研究还表明,学生的英语水平与学习态度密切相关,在很大程度上影响CBI的教学效果,因此CBI教学更适用于英语水平较高的学习者。在实施CBI教学过程中,教师也要一直关注学习者学习态度的变化。该研究结果对CBI教学的发展具有一定的参考价值,同时也对教师进一步了解CBI模式下应用型本科生的动机特点提供了有益的借鉴。 In light of the current college English teaching environment,this paper focuses on the effects of Content-based Instruction(CBI)on learning motivation and language proficiency of Non-English majors by a variety of means such as questionnaire,interview and SPSS software in the case of business English course.The results indicate that CBI is more effective than traditional ways of English teaching in stimulating learners’motivation and improving their language proficiency.The study shows learnors’language skill is closely related to their learning skills.To a large extent,learnors’language skills affect teaching results.Therefore,CBI is more suitable to the high level of English learners.In the process of CBI teaching,the teaches will pay attention to learners’attitude all the time.These findings provide a scientific reference for the development of CBI mode teaching and further understand the characteristics of applied graduates’learning motivation for the teachers under CBI mode.
