“风险”探源与辨析

The Origin and Differentiation of "Risk"

文章通过溯源“风”字和“险”字的本义及其概念演变,着重考察先秦以来“风”观念中蕴含着的多种“险”之内涵,辨析“风险”一词的源起与变迁,并且还将其与英文“risk”一词进行比照,寻求二者含义上和翻译上的关联性。

This paper analyzes the original meanings and the evolution of the word which is composed of two Chinese characters"风(feng)"and"险(xian)",focusing on various connotations of"risk"in the two Chinese concepts since the pre-Qin period,and analyzing their origins and evolution.Besides,it also compares the Chinese term with the word"risk"in English in order to seek their relevance in meaning and translation.
