The degree of human freedom has almost become an important factor restricting the development of modern civilization and social stability.Personality and its uniqueness constitute a potential threat to social development,the analysis of the structure of human character is the first step to grasp the definition of freedom.Therefore,Fromm pays attention to the development of people's personality structure and tries to find a solution to the potential social crisis.Through the detailed analysis of the psychological mechanism of Fromm's escape from freedom,on the basis of criticizing the disadvantages of western capitalist society,this paper explores the way to realize the individual's positive freedom in connection with the current social development reality,so as to promote the positive and healthy development of society.
