随着现在光纤线路管道数量的增加,加上以前铺设光缆的老化,光纤的断纤次数也在日益增加,光缆大规模建设和如何高效的对光缆进行维护管理的矛盾日益突出。传统的光纤线路在断纤故障的查找方面时间长,保障通信网的正常运行,如何及时发现业务在运行过程中的隐患,降低故障的发生率,提高运维效率,增强通信系统的可靠性,成为光缆运行维护的当务之急。
