Schools mainly cultivate students'noble moral quality.At the same time,counselors of higher vocational colleges need to continuously innovate educational methods and introduce positive psychology education.This paper expounds the role of positive psychology in improving the effect of higher vocational college counselors'ideological and political education from the main content of positive psychology,the role,importance and methods of positive psychology in the ideological and political education of higher vocational colleges.
