Vocabulary is the foundation of language.The famous linguist Wilkins once said,"Without grammar very little can be conveyed,without vocabulary nothing can be conveyed."With the title"On Effective Strategies for Primary English Vocabulary Teaching",this paper will discuss many problems in primary English vocabulary teaching and some suggestions of the writer,as well as different strategies adopted by English teachers in vocabulary teaching due to the complexity of vocabulary teaching.The strategies make vocabulary teaching more meaningful and effective.
