Spiritual Quality and Cultural Roots of Wei-Jin Grace

魏晋风度是特有的文化现象,有着复杂深刻的内涵。从探析“魏晋风度”词源出发,梳理了魏晋风度命题在中国古代至晚清明初时期的演变,概括了魏晋士人的形象特征,归纳了魏晋风度蕴含的儒道互补、偏重艺术化人生的基本精神内涵,并在此基础上,探究其产生的社会政治、思想文化根源。

Style of Wei-Jin is a unique cultural phenomenon with complex and profound connotation.Starting from the exploration of the etymology of"Wei-Jin Grace",the evolution of Wei and Jin Grace propositions from ancient China to the early Qing and Ming dynasties was examined,the characteristics of Wei and Jin scholars were generalized,the Confucian and Taoism complementary were summarized and the basic spiritual connotation of artistic life was emphasized.On the basis of this,the social,political,ideological and cultural causes are explored.
