The skateboard slag retaining technology in converter is the most advanced and difficult slag retaining technology currently in the world.It is proved to be a mature and reliable technology by the practise of lots of domestic and foreign steel plants,it has the effects of improving steelmaking process and raising quality of molten steel.This paper introduces the application problems of this technology in china and the technical innovations and points out that the technology will bring economical benefit and has great potential space in the future.
