Designed by COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry Technology Center,50 000 DWT long cargo hold general vessel is a brand new type of vessel in the category of multi-purpose vessel.A multi-purpose vessel with compact layout,strong cargo handling capability and fast loading and unloading is designed,which combines the needs of ship owners.Meanwhile,based on operational needs,new products with optimized water speed optimization,improved fuel economy and optimized energy efficiency index are designed.The ship's profile of the project is introduced,and the overall layout of the project development,damage stability,heavy lifting arrangement,hatch arrangement,and rapidity are highlighted,which can provide an important reference for the design of this type vessel.
