Production and Usage of Handmade Tactile Books for the Blind

手工触摸书是低幼视障儿童通过摸读来获取信息的一种特殊图画书,用各种接近实物的材料制成,是对视障儿童进行早期干预的重要工具。笔者综合国外先进经验,结合自身实践,系统介绍触摸书的定义、作用、制作及使用,希望能为国内视障图书馆提供有益的参考。

Handmade tactile books represent one specific kind of picture books for visually impaired children at the early age to obtain information.They are made of various physically similar materials close to real life and serve as an important tool of early educational intervention for visually impaired children.This paper,combining foreign advanced experience with personal practice,presents the definition,function,production and usage of tactile books systematically,hoping to provide beneficial suggestions to visually impaired libraries in China.
