This article reviewed and discussed the specific manifestations,causes and coping strategies of over-treatment in plastic surgery.In recent years,plastic surgery market in China has developed rapidly.According to the data released by the International Society of Aesthetic Surgery(ISAPS),China has become the third largest cosmetic country in the world,behind US and Brazil.A series of problems emerge with the rapid development of the medical beauty industry,among which the over-treatment problem in the plastic surgery process is particularly prominent.Specific performances of over-treatment differ due to the difference of aesthetic appreciation and psychological state in cosmetic patients,which are affected by the social environment and media publicity as well.
