Guarding the Old and Accepting the New: Strategies Research on Embedding New Buildings in the Historic Districts: Thinking About the Design Competition of Jianghanguan West Corner Project

该文就历史街区如何植入新建筑的问题,提出守护与纳新的思考,进而论证了二者之间对立与统一的辩证关系。现以江汉关西隅地改造项目设计竞赛为例,从城市设计的角度,就空间格局、建筑形态、空间环境、功能业态四个方面探讨了历史街区中植入新建筑的守护与纳新策略。试图从守护与纳新的角度中探索一种关于历史街区植入新建筑的思路和方法。

In this paper we discuss the status of how to embed new buildings in historic districts,and put forward thinking of guarding the old and accepting the new.Then we demonstrate the dialectical relationship of opposites and unity between the two.Taking the design competition of Jianghanguan west corner project as an example,from the perspective of urban design,we study the strategies of guarding the old and accepting the new about embedding new buildings in historic districts from four aspects:spatial pattern,architectural form,space environment and functional format.Further,from the perspective of guarding the old and accepting the new,we try to explore a new method of embedding new buildings in historic districts.
