A Reactive Power Control Strategy for Highly Wind Power Penetrated Regional Grids Considering Safety and Economy

摘要 针对大规模风电场有功出力波动所造成的局部电压稳定问题,研究了高风电渗透率下局部电网的无功优化模型及算法,并提出了一种兼顾安全与经济的无功控制策略。该策略分为三层:监视层借助WAMS及SCADA实时监视各节点电压、潮流及各无功源状态;计算层基于监视层信息计算双馈异步风力发电机组的无功出力上下界,并采用量子行为粒子群优化算法求解无功联合优化模型;执行层下发计算层结果至各无功源。该策略能够在保障节点电压在控制范围内的同时,充分利用双馈异步风力发电机的无功调节能力,提升局部电网整体静态电压稳定性,并减小有功网损。算例表明,所提策略可行,对高风电渗透率下局部电网的运行具有一定参考价值。 To solve regional voltage instability caused by large?scale wind farm active power fluctuations,this paper studies reactive power optimization model and algorithm for highly wind power penetrated regional grids.Besides,it proposes a reactive power control strategy considering both safety and economy.The strategy is divided into three layers:The monitoring layer utilizes WAMS and SCADA to monitor voltages,power flows and reactive source statuses in real time;The calculation layer is to calculate the reactive power upper and lower bounds of DFIGs on the basis of the monitoring layer information,and uses the quantum?behaved particle swarm optimization(QPSO)algorithm to solve the joint reactive power optimization model;The execution layer is responsible for issuing the calculation layer results to each reactive source.The strategy can fully utilize the DFIGs’reactive power adjustment capability to improve the overall static voltage stability of the regional grid and reduce the power loss while ensuring the node voltage is within the control range.Case studies show that the proposed strategy is feasible and provides a reference value for highly wind power penetrated regional grids operation.
