为建设成为全球艺术之都,新加坡政府通过了城市文化复兴计划(RCP,Renaissance City)。文化基础设施的建设和国际艺术活动的成功举办,为新加坡城市文化语境与公共艺术的耦合共生发展创造条件。城市的艺术文化水平显著提升,顶级公共艺术推动新加坡国际文化交流,在相互尊重、相互包容的城市文化语境中共生共长,共兴共荣。

In order to develop Singapore into a city of art worldwide,Singapore's government has approved Renaissance City Plan(RCP).The culture infrastructure construction and the successful holding of international art events have created favorable conditions for the co-existence of Singapore urban cultural context and public art.The urban cultural level has improved dramatically and the top public art events have promoted international exchanges of Singapore,achieving intergrowth and co-prosperity in the urban cultural context of mutual respect and tolerance.
