大同市目前保种猪主要有马身猪、山西黑猪和晋汾白猪。大同市利用马身猪的优良品种特性,先后培育出山西黑猪,晋汾白猪等一批优良品种。每个品种猪特性都各具优势,都适合保种推广。

At present,there are mainly Mashen pigs,Shanxi black pigs and Jinfen white pigs in Datong.Datong has bred a number of fine varieties of Shanxi black pigs,Jinfen white pigs and so on by using the characteristics of horse breed.Each breed has its own advantages and is suitable for seed conservation and extension.
