On Factivity Problem of Knowledge and Its Solution

知识的事实性问题是当代知识论的研究热点。知识论学者普遍认同知识是认知主体所知道的东西,知识的事实性条件是知道P,这一事实性主张受到“知道”的“事实性神话”理论和“事实性难题”的诘难。知识不等于知道,基于对知道的事实性的反驳不足以否认知识的事实性。相反,通过对知道的意义进行界定和对知道的使用领域进行划界,能够为知识的事实性提供合理的辩护。

The research on factivity problem of knowledge is a hot-spot issue in contemporary epistemology. Most epistemologists agree that knowledge is what the epistemic subject knows,and the condition of factivity of knowledge is knowing P. However,this factive claim was challenged by theories of‘the myth of factive verb’and‘factivity problem’. Knowledge does not equal to knowing. It is insufficient to deny the factivity of knowledge based on the refutation of factivity of knowing;on the contrary,by redefining the meaning of knowing and re-categorizing the domain of it,we can reasonably justify the factivity of knowledge.
