说唱既不属于文学,也不属于音乐,而是一个独立的艺术门类。作为一种民间传统文化,南梁说唱是生长于峁梁沟壑间的大地艺术,是流传于田间场院的群众艺术,是根植于礼乐民俗的传统艺术,是与时俱进的时代艺术。

Prosimetrum is more an independent branch of art than a genre of literature or a type of music.As a species of traditional folk art,Nanliang prosimetric art was created by the farming villagers and has been popularized since then.The art stems from the ancient ceremonial folk performances and changes with the times of itself.
