长期以来,《沉沦》中男主人公的忧郁症,既被视为作者本人特有的精神标记,也被看作五四文学的经典症候之一。不过,郁达夫笔下的忧郁症,有刻意营造之嫌。此外,文本中的死亡书写与爱国主题,以及“泪浪滔滔”的浪漫主义情调,既折射出郁氏的传统文人趣味和对时代主旋律的迎合,又隐含着强烈的狂欢特色。《沉沦》的忧郁症书写,孕育了独特的公共话语与暴力叙事,对此后的文学创作,影响深远。

For a long time,the protagonist’s depression in Sinking has been seen as the unique spiritual marker of the author himself as well as one of the classical syndrome of the May 4 th literature.However,the depression under YU Dafu’s pen has the suspect of painstaking description.In addition,the death and patriotism in the novel as well as the tear-shedding romanticism have reflected the YU’s taste of the traditional scholars and catering of the main theme of the time.At the same time,they are characterized by the strong color of hilarity.The description of the depression in the novel has bred the unique public discourse and violent narration which has exerted great influence on the literary creation ever since.
