摘要 《长日留痕》是日裔英国作家石黑一雄的代表作,其中的叙事策略表现出了高超的艺术水准.第一人称叙述方式的灵活运用,对建构小说的叙事结构和塑造人物形象起到了非常重要的作用.第一人称的回忆叙事策略和内聚焦的叙述方式的巧妙结合,凸显了小说的双重叙述视角,增强了小说的反讽效果和叙述的不可靠性,丰富了小说的叙事维度,彰显了小说的艺术效果。 The Remains of the Day is a masterpiece written by Kazuo Ishiguro,a Japanese British writer,and its narrative strategies reflect a higher level of artistic achievements.The flexible application of the first person narration plays an important role in the construction of the narrative structure and the characterization of the main character.The ingenious combination of the first person narrative strategy of memory and the internal focalization in the novel foregrounds its double narrative perspectives,enhances its ironical effects and its narrative unreliability,thus making the artistic effects of the novel evident to the full.
