双向代际支持对农村老年人身心健康的影响——基于山东省的调查数据

Influence of Two-way Inter-generational Support on the Physical and Mental Health of the Rural Elderly: Based on the Survey Data of Shandong Province

基于山东省891位农村老年人的调查数据,分析了双向代际支持对农村老年人身心健康的影响,结果表明:不同方向与不同方式的代际支持对农村老年人身心健康产生了不同影响。子代情感支持、亲代情感支持以及亲代照料支持会显著提高农村老年人自评健康,但子代经济支持会降低老年人自评健康;亲代经济支持、子代情感支持和照料支持能有效遏制其日常活动能力的退化;子代经济支持、亲代照料支持会增加其抑郁程度,但子代情感支持、亲代情感支持以及子代照料支持会显著改善其心理健康。

Based on the survey data of 891 rural elderly in Shandong Province,the impact of two-way inter-generational support on the physical and mental health of the rural elderly was analyzed.The empirical findings show that effects of inter-generational support on the physical and mental health of the rural elderly diverge in directions and methods.The self-assessed health of the rural elderly can be significantly improved with the filial and parental emotional support and the parental caring support,but it tends to lower with the filial economic support.The degrading daily activity ability of the rural elderly can be curbed effectively with the parental economic support,the filial emotional and caring support while the depression of the rural elderly might be worsened with the filial economic support and the parental caring support.And the mental health of the rural elderly can be significantly improved with both the filial and parental emotional support and the filial caring support.
