医疗行业语言服务中的方言问题研究——以西安为例

The Dialect Problems of Language Service in Medical Industry: A Case of Xi’an

服务语言的选择、方言理解度、方言服务意识和方言消费需求均为影响医患沟通的重要因素。研究表明:医务人员不理解患者方言的情况较为常见。学历、出生地和年龄是影响医务人员理解患者方言的重要因素。针对方言理解难题,建议语言工作者协助医院制定“医疗工作者方言手册”。针对部分患者期望医务人员使用本地方言交谈的需求,建议医务人员做出灵活的语言选择。同时,医疗行业语言服务具有潜在的经济价值。

The choice of service language,the comprehension of dialect,the service consciousness of dialect and the consumption demand of dialect will greatly influence the communication between medical personnel and patient.The results show that:It is common that medical personnel do not understand the patient’s dialect.Education,birthplace and age are the important factors which will influence the medical personnel to understand the patient’s dialect.It is recommended that language workers should assist the hospital to make a dialect manual for medical workers.For the patients who express the expectations of using local dialect in conversation,it is recommended that the medical personnel should make a flexible choice of service language according to the actual situation of patients.In addition,the medical industry language services have potential economic value.
