A Study on Kong Jihan’s Life

孔继涵(1739-1783),孔子第69代孙,清代著名藏书家、刻书家。与戴震、卢文弨、翁方纲等人交好,主持刊刻《戴氏遗书》。在京任官期间,抄录了大量珍稀古籍,为古书的保存和流传做出积极贡献。

Kong Jihan(1739-1783),the 69th son of Confucius,a famous bibliographer and calligrapher of Qing dynasty.He was a good friend of Dai Zhen,Lu Wenchao and Weng Fanggang.He presided the publication of Dai Zhen’s posthumous books.During his official career in Beijing,he copied many rare ancient books to make constructive efforts for the preservation and circulation of the precious documents.
