The Present Situation and Reflection:The Crisis of Neoliberalism Ideology in the View of the Western Left-wing

近年来,新威权主义、国家主义以及民粹主义等思潮复兴,不同程度地影响着资本主义社会的政治经济秩序,上世纪末广受推崇的新自由主义面临新的多重挑战。西方左翼学者认为新自由主义所秉持的“完全自由”市场受到威权主义的威胁、普世主义遭到国家主义的对抗,新自由主义个人主义方法论被劳动者的“关怀危机”所否定,新自由主义的强势地位正在迅速弱化。西方左翼学者们揭示了新自由主义日益式微的态势,但是,由于他们未能从突破资本主义生产方式的内在限度上进行思考,对新自由主义意识形态的批判依然停留在形式上。

In recent years,the revival of neo-authoritarianism,statism and populism has affected the political and economic order of capitalist society in varying degrees.Neo-liberalism,which was widely respected at the end of the last century,faces new and multiple challenges.The Western left-wing scholars believe that the"completely free"market of neo-liberalism has being threatened by authoritarianism,universality is antagonized by statism,the individualism methodology of neo-liberalism is denied by workers'"concern crisis",and the strong position of neo-liberalism is weakening rapidly.Western left-wing scholars have revealed the declining trend of neoliberalism,but because they have failed to break the inherent limits of capitalist production mode,the critics to neo-liberalism ideology is still float on the surface.
