摘要
在国际交往日益频繁和双一流高校建设如火如荼的背景下,中国大学通过标志性形象资料的译介和传播,塑造了高校的良好形象并提升了高校的国际影响力。在外宣视域下,中国大学形象资料的翻译需要遵循体现语言内涵、展现文化语境和实现宣传目的的三原则。同时,译者可采用直译、增译、释译、专译、变译等翻译策略以及基于上述原则和策略的翻译模式来进行中国大学形象资料的翻译,从而达到外宣目的,提升中国高校的国际形象。
In the process of ever-increasing international communication and heated“Double First Class”construction plan,Chinese universities have formed their good images and enhanced their international influence with the aid of communication and translation of their representative image materials.From the perspective of international communication,the translation of Chinese universities'image materials should follow three translation principles:embodying language connotation,showing cultural context and achieving communication purposes.Meanwhile,the translator can adopt such strategies as literal translation,additional translation,interpretative translation,special translation and adapting translation and the translation mode based on the above-described principles and strategies so as to achieve the purpose of international communication and upgrade the international image of Chinese universities.
